People use “crossover” as a single cheer. On the table we split it.
A plot crossover is a story that moves a conflict through more than one title or chapter file. A drop-night pairing is two unrelated files released in the same window because a calendar was busy. A wrap crossover is cover art that borrows a team pose while the interiors stay in their own alley.
Marvel-themed NFT comics can do all three in one season. If you only chase wraps, you may own a team photograph and still lack the chapter where the bridge falls. If you only chase drop nights, you may own two files that never mention each other.
We write the word we mean on the butcher paper. It looks pedantic. It saves a reread.
