Variant cover notes

We compare story interiors against incentive covers so a holographic wrap does not get mistaken for a missing chapter.

Colourful painted artwork with bold graphic shapes

Variant cover notes are for readers who bought three wraps of the same NFT comic issue and still cannot tell if the fight scene is complete. In Marvel-themed digital crossovers, a virgin cover, a sketch wrap, or a glow treatment often shares the identical interior lettering.

We place screenshots of splash pages beside one another, count story pages, and write whether a particular variant adds a recap, a backup strip, or nothing but a different trade dress. The work is visual and slow on purpose.

This is not a price guide. A rarer wrap is still a wrap. If you display covers in a compatible viewer, keep the story file and the wrap file labelled so a later reread does not skip a chapter.
